T-Bones Change July 31 Game Time

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones have announced that the game time for their July 31 game against Laredo has been changed to 12:00 p.m.

The change from the original 7:05 p.m. start is to help accommodate nearby MLS All-Star activities in the Village West area. It's a way, also, for sports fans in the Kansas City area to enjoy both events in a centralized location.

"For the sake of our greater community, moving our game time was the right thing to do," said Adam Ehlert, T-Bones President. "We look forward to a thrilling full-day's activities throughout Kansas City, Kansas."

"What a great day July 31 will be for Kansas City, Kansas and the entire Kansas City region," said Bridgette Jobe, the Executive Director of the Kansas City Kansas Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. "We will have national and international attention on our city, plus we will be treated to some of America's greatest sports - baseball and soccer. I invite everyone to spend the day at Village West to enjoy some of the finest sports, shopping, dining and entertainment."

The CommunityAmerica Ballpark gates will open at 10:30 a.m. for the noon start on July 31.

"We're excited to help create a true doubleheader sports day for the fine folks of Kansas City, Kansas," said T-Bones Vice-President and General Manager, Chris Browne. "We invite all sports fans of Kansas City to come to our area, enjoy some daytime baseball, followed by a parade and various Fan Fest activities in Village West prior to the MLS All-Star game at Sporting Park."
