KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones have announced that the game time for their July 31 game against Laredo has been changed to 12:00 p.m.
The change from the original 7:05 p.m. start is to help accommodate nearby MLS All-Star activities in the Village West area. It's a way, also, for sports fans in the Kansas City area to enjoy both events in a centralized location.
"For the sake of our greater community, moving our game time was the right thing to do," said Adam Ehlert, T-Bones President. "We look forward to a thrilling full-day's activities throughout Kansas City, Kansas."
"What a great day July 31 will be for Kansas City, Kansas and the entire Kansas City region," said Bridgette Jobe, the Executive Director of the Kansas City Kansas Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. "We will have national and international attention on our city, plus we will be treated to some of America's greatest sports - baseball and soccer. I invite everyone to spend the day at Village West to enjoy some of the finest sports, shopping, dining and entertainment."
The CommunityAmerica Ballpark gates will open at 10:30 a.m. for the noon start on July 31.
