Redhawks Acquire OF Einertson

FARGO, ND - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have acquired OF Mitch Einertson from the El Paso Diablos and traded OF Tyler Graham to the Winnipeg Goldeyes for a player to be named later. Einertson is expected to join the RedHawks today as the club opens a three-game series with the St. Paul Saints at Midway Stadium in St. Paul, MN.

Einertson, 27, batted .293 with eight doubles, one triple, seven RBIs and nine runs scored in 18 games for the Diablos this season. In 2012, Einertson finished the season with El Paso after starting the season with the Wichita Wingnuts. In 95 games last season between the Diablos and Wingnuts, he batted .284 with 23 doubles, nine home runs, 66 RBIs and 75 runs scored.

Einertson began his professional career in 2004 after being selected by the Houston Astros in the 5th round of the draft that year. He reached the Double-A level with the Corpus Christi Hooks in the Astros organization in 2008 and 2009. Entering this season, he is a career .275 hitter with 102 home runs, 532 RBIs and 499 runs scored in 852 games.

Graham batted .217 (5-for-23) with a double, two RBIs and a run scored in six games with the RedHawks this season.
