Kansas City, Kan. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks got homers from Jose Sermo, Dillon Thomas and Eric Filia Friday in a 6-3 win over the Kansas City Monarchs in Game 4 of the West Division Championship Series at Legends Field.
The win ties the WDCS at two games apiece, with Game 5 set for Saturday in Kansas City.
Parker Harm was great again for the RedHawks, allowing two runs and striking out seven Monarchs over five innings of work in his second start of the postseason.
Jon Beymer, Justin Lopez and Tyler Jeans allowed only one run on three hits over the final four innings to seal the win, with Jeans picking up his fourth save of the playoffs.
Sermo and Thomas homered in the second inning - Thomas' a 442-foot, two-run moonshot off the clubhouse in right field - to put the visitors in front, the Filia added another two-run shot in the third. Brian Fuentes singled in the RedHawks' sixth run in the fourth inning.
Game 5 is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. on Saturday at Legends Field. The game will be available for free on aabaseball.tv and 740thefan.com.
