Golden State Warriors Recall Guard Jacob Evans III

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have recalled guard Jacob Evans III from the Santa Cruz Warriors, the team's NBA G League affiliate, both teams announced today.

Evans III (6'6, 210) has appeared in 21 games (16 starts) with the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 11.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26.1 minutes per game.

The first-year guard from the University of Cincinnati, who was selected with the 28th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has appeared in 26 games with Golden State this season, averaging 0.8 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 4.6 minutes per game.

The Santa Cruz Warriors will conclude their 2018-19 regular season against the Agua Caliente Clippers tonight at Kaiser Permanente Arena at 7:00 p.m. PDT. The Warriors will host a Pom Pom giveaway, presented by Bay Federal Credit Union, for the first 1,500 fans in attendance.
