On the win
It was nice, a good team effort. You say that and it's kind of cliche, but tonight really was a team effort. That was one of the best games I've ever been a part of as a goalie. They kept all of the shots to the outside and it really did make my life easy. You hear it a lot, 'team win,' but tonight was an absolute team win.
On the shutout
I think even our two goals is a demonstration of how quick a game can turn. I think I knew all along that at any moment they could pop two and we would be all square again. I don't think we ever got complacent as a group, myself included. The confidence was building, but I think it has been building over awhile, just having a few starts in a row. It feels nice to put one together here.
Head Coach Dallas Eakins
On the game
It was night and day (from last night). I thought it was an excellent response from our guys. It's something that we've come to expect from them. That's the one thing I think we've done really well as a group, is respond after a tough like we had last night.
On the veteran group
We put a line of Carrick, Tropp and Cracknell. We started them at the start ofe ach period and I thought they really set the tone for us.
On Jeff Glass
Incredible. I felt good for him to pitch a shutout and come in on a second game, a back-to-back is ually a tough thing to do. He's really battled for us this year.
On special teams
Our power play tonight was excellent. It's always interesting. You don't score, but that's about as good as I've seen our power play all year. Both units had numerous chances and good on our (penalty) killers. They were determined, especially when we had the three in a row there in the third period.
