Gladiators to deliver Teddy Bears to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta

The Gwinnett Gladiators will be delivering teddy bears to the young patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston on Thursday, March 11th beginning at

1:00 p.m.

With hundreds of teddy bears collected during the Gladiators Teddy Bear toss on January 17th, members of the Gladiators office staff, Maximus the Mascot and selected Gladiators players will be visiting the children and delivering teddy bears collected that night.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston is located at 1405 Clifton Road NE Atlanta. Media members are asked to check in at the Ground Floor information desk.

The Gladiators continue to distribute teddy bears collected from the Teddy Bear Toss on January 17th. In addition to delivering teddy bears on Thursday to children at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, the Gladiators have also donated teddy bears to Georgia Cancer Specialists, Foster Children's Foundation, Sheltering Arms, Chattahoochee Elementary School Toy Drive and the Toys for Tots Atlanta Distribution Center.

The Gladiators are back in action on Friday as they host the Pensacola Ice Pilots in a 7:035 p.m. tilt. It's St. Patrick's Day Poster night. The first 2,000 fans receive a special Gladiators St. Patrick's Day poster courtesy of Kroger, Charter Communications, The Gwinnett Daily Post and 680 AM The Fan.
