Chiefs vs. Wheeling Game Televised Live on WJAC

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs announced today, that Saturday night's (March 13th) home game versus the Wheeling Nailers will be televised live on WJAC TV-6. The game will also be broadcasted on WTOV TV-9 in Wheeling.

"It has been sometime since we have had a game broadcasted live from the War Memorial. We hope to introduce some new fans to Chiefs hockey in the Johnstown-Altoona-State College market," said Chiefs Vice-President and General Manager Jim Brazill. "This has been an exciting year for Chiefs hockey, we hope this telecast builds on the success we have had."

The broadcast begins at 7:00 p.m. with the voice of the Wheeling Nailers, Ned Bowdern providing play by play. WJAC sports director Tim Rigby and WTOV sports anchor Don Sloan will be the color commentators.

The Chiefs are back in action Friday night when they travel to Reading to take on the Royals at 7:00 p.m. Saturday night, the Chiefs will play host to Wheeling and Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., the Trenton Titans come to the War Memorial. For tickets call (814) 536-5156 or 1-800-SLAPSHOT.
