IceGators announce Pack the Dome Night

March 10, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Louisiana IceGators News Release

Lafayette, LA – The Louisiana IceGators announced today they are hosting Pack the Dome Night on March 27, 2004 against the Gwinnett Gladiators. If the game sells out, all fans in attendance will be able to purchase beer and soda for 25 cents during the game.

LAHA, the Louisiana Hockey Association, is selling tickets for the March 27 game to raise money for their youth hockey program. Tickets from LAHA are $10, with $5 of the ticket price going back to LAHA.

"A packed house means a lot more energy and excitement," said IceGators captain Bobby Brown. "Fans would probably see more adrenaline, harder hits, great goals and more than likely, some fisticuffs. We're like rock stars. The bigger the crowd, the better the show."

The March 27 game kicks off Fan Appreciation Weekend, which is locally sponsored by KLFY Channel 10, and is the last Saturday home game of the regular season for the IceGators. Division challenger Gwinnett will play back-to-back games against the IceGators at the Cajundome on March 27 and 28. The IceGators are well on their way to clinching their seventh consecutive division title and a sell-out crowd can create a winning atmosphere.

"We know how much the people of Acadiana love a good party. We would like to bring that party atmosphere to the Cajundome on the 27th," added IceGators General Manager Brian Kelley. "Great hockey, loud crowds, a great atmosphere and cheap, cold drinks: that definitely sounds like an Acadiana party."

Special prices are available for groups and organizations of 10 or more. Please call the IceGators office at 337-234-4423 to order group tickets.
