Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI - Join the Milwaukee Admirals this Saturday, April 5th at 3:30 pm at the Bradley Center as the team hosts the annual Battle of Badges Hockey Game that pits Milwaukee Area Police versus Milwaukee Area Firefighters and raises money for the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Wisconsin.
Tickets are just $16 and are good for both the Battle of the Badges and the Admirals 7:30 pm game with the Houston Aeros later that evening. Plus, $5 from each ticket will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. Fans can purchase tickets by calling John Bitter at (414) 227-0829 or via email at jbitter@milwaukeeadmirals.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the Bradley Center Box office on Saturday prior to the game.
Prior to the Battle of the Badges the Admirals will hold their first annual Blood Drive, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, at the Bradley Center. The drive will take place from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm and all people who donate will receive a pair of tickets to a 2008-09 Admirals game. For those who would like to set a specific appointment time can do so by calling 1-800-Give-Life or by logging on to www.givebloodgivelife.com.
In addition to the Battle of the Badges and the Blood Drive, the Admirals will also wear special hero jerseys that feature the shields of the Milwaukee Police and Milwaukee Fire Departments at their games on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. The jerseys will be auctioned off via a silent auction and the money will then be donated to the Milwaukee Admirals Power Play Foundation. Winning bidders will have the opportunity to have their jerseys signed following Sunday's game.
