Flames Begin Season's Final Month

Moline, IL- The Flames begin the final month of the 2007-08 regular season with a visit to Des Moines on Tuesday night. It marks the last of six games for the Flames at Wells Fargo Arena this season. The team returns to the i wireless Center for back-to-back home games. The Rockford IceHogs visit the Quad Cities for the final time on Friday before the Iowa Stars hit town on Saturday. The busy week ends on Sunday at Allstate Arena as the Flames face-off with the West Division leading Chicago Wolves for the final time.

Last week, the Flames dropped two games to fall 11 points back in the race for the final playoff position in the Western Conference. On Friday night, the Iowa Stars beat Quad City 4-1 in Des Moines. The Milwaukee Admirals shut out Quad City 1-0 on Saturday at the i wireless Center.

The Flames invite fans to follow the team on the road via b2 Viewing Parties at Bleacher Bums in Davenport or Parkside Grill and Lounge in Moline. Drink specials will be offered at both locations. Fans in attendance at Bleacher Bums can purchase $5 domestic pitchers or buckets of beer for $12. Bleacher Bums is located at 3811 N. Harrison Street in Davenport, across the street from Lujack's. Parkside Grill and Lounge is located at 2307 5th Avenue in Moline.

Wednesday, April 9th vs. Houston at 7:05 p.m.

The Flames host the final Wild Wednesday of the regular season on April 9th. The Quick Change artists from ‘America's Got Talent' will perform. Their appearance is presented by Newschannel 8 WQAD. Fans can purchase upper bowl tickets at the i wireless Center Box Office for just $5.00. During the game, 12-ounce Draft Beers will be available for just $2.00.

Flames Inaugural Player Awards

Friday, April 11th vs. Iowa at 7:05 p.m.

The Flames home finale will be highlighted by a pre-game awards ceremony. The nine awards that will be presented include: Most Valuable Player, Defenseman of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player, Leading Scorer, Fan Favorite, Jim Kohley Award, Media Award and Star Player Award.
