George Dupont Signs as Head Coach of Ice Pilots

Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release
Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots would like to announce that the team has signed Interim Head Coach George Dupont to a two year deal starting immediately. George Dupont was named Interim Head Coach on January 6th. Prior to coming to Pensacola, George Dupont posted a record of 83-32-6-1 in three seasons with the Milton Jr. Ice Hawks of the OPJHL, and a record of 77-48-16 in two seasons with the Tupelo T-Rex of the WPHL.
The signing of George Dupont reinforces the fact that the Ice Pilots will return to Pensacola for the 2006-2007 season. The Ice Pilots will call Pensacola home for the foreseeable future with no plans to relocate. Season ticket and Mini-Plan information for next season will be available in the next week.
