TOEING THE RUBBER: Starting pitcher Rico Garcia did not allow a run over his 5.0 innings on the mound. The right-hander struck out five and walked three ... Matt Pierpont and Phillip Diehl each threw 2.0 scoreless innings a piece to complete the shutout.
AT THE DISH: Seven Isotopes recorded a multi-hit game on the night ... Elliot Soto and Sam Hilliard led off the game with back-to-back home runs. The home runs were the ninth of the year for Soto and the 33rd for Hilliard ... Roberto Ramos also connected on a home run, his 26th of the season ... Drew Butera finished the night 3-for-5 with three RBI.
