SERIES FINALE

The Oilers and Beast clash for the eighth and final time with the Oilers seeking perfection in the season series. Tulsa is 7-0-0 against Brampton this season and has outscored the Beast 31-12 over the previous seven contests. The Oilers have never lost to the Beast at the BOK Center (8-0-0) and are looking to record their third win in three days. Tulsa has put up four goals or more in six of the seven previous games while holding Brampton to two goals or fewer in six of the seven outings. Drew Fisher leads the Oilers with 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) in seven games against the Beast and rookie center Jeff Jubinville leads Tulsa with six goals in the series.

MILITARY NIGHT VICTORY

Wearing special patriotic themed jerseys on Budweiser Military Night, the Oilers picked up a hard-fought 3-1 win over the Beast on Saturday night at the BOK Center. Brampton held a 1-0 lead after the first period but on the first shift of the middle frame, T.J. Caig swatted home a rebound to level the score. Less than four minutes later, Kyle Bochek unleashed a heavy slap shot for his fifth goal of the season to give Tulsa its first lead of the evening. Kevin Carr made 31 saves to push the Oilers to their third consecutive win.

POSTSEASON PUSH

Saturday's win moved the Oilers into a tie with Wichita for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division. Tonight, the Oilers have an opportunity to gain ground on the idle Rapid City Rush who sit in third place with a three point lead on Tulsa. The Oilers have three games in hand on the Rush and have 13 games remaining in the regular season. At 8-2-0, the Oilers have the best record in the division over the last 10 games.

AT HIS BEST WHEN YOU NEED HIM MOST

In the last three games, rookie goalie Kevin Carr has allowed only two goals and has helped the Oilers to a crucial three-game win streak. The Unionville, Ontario has a 0.66 goals against average in his last three starts and has stopped 97 of the 99 shots he has faced for a .979 save percentage. Carr is 6-1-0 in his last seven appearances and leads all first-year netminders in minutes, wins, total saves, and shutouts.

PK PERFECTION

The Oilers went 6-for-6 on the penalty kill on Saturday night against Brampton and have not allowed a power play goal in the last three games. Tulsa has been flawless on the penalty kill in three consecutive contests for the first time since early January.

OIL DROPS

The Oilers are 7-2-0 overall in Sunday games this season and 4-2-0 in Sunday home games...Jake Obermeyer left Saturday's game with an upper body injury and the Oilers played the final two periods with only five defensemen...Tommy Mele is the first Oilers' player since Thomas Harrison in 2009-10 to record 200 penalty minutes in a season...Jeff Jubinville had his seven-game point streak snapped on Saturday...Tulsa has gone without a power play goal in three straight games and is just 1-for-20 on the man-advantage in its last five games.
