Stockton Thunder News Release
Stockton, Calif. - Stockton Thunder forward Tyler Shattock extends his point streak to four games with a two goal performance and Klarc Wilson scored his second goal in a Thunder sweater, but it was one goal too little as the Idaho Steelheads defeated the Thunder 4-3 Sunday night at Stockton Arena. Shattock's linemates Jack Combs and Vinny Scarsella extended their respective point streaks as well, while rookie defenseman Mike Busillo got his first pro point, earning the secondary assist on Wilson's goal. Unfortunately, a bad bounce off a broken up pass led to the game-winning goal on the power play for Idaho. The game was the 96th and final matchup between the two franchises, as the Thunder finish with a 38-51-7 record all-time against the Steelheads.

Quotes
"I feel like Klarc [Wilson] and myself are hitting and doing a better job of keeping the puck in the offensive zone to put pressure on the defense. As long as we can keep getting the puck to the net, it's going to be good for us." - Bryon Paulazzo on he and his linemate building chemistry.
"It was a good shift for us because we were grinding the puck down low and using the area behind the net to our advantage the way we like to do. Paulazzo made a great pass to me in the slot from the corner and I just tried to get the shot off as quick as I could. Fortunately it went in." - Klarc Wilson on the play that led to his third goal of the season.
"It was exciting. The forwards were working hard down low and they were able to get the goal. It was definitely an exciting moment, but would've been better with a win." - Mike Busillo on his first ever pro point.
"I thought we played hard for the majority of that game. We seemed to get a little lost in our defensive zone a couple times and it cost us, but I'd say we probably out chanced those guys tonight. It's a tough loss for us, but that's the top team in our conference, so we know we can play with anyone." - Tyler Shattock with his assessment of tonight's game.
"It always takes a bit of time to get some chemistry. Vinny [Scarsella] and I have been playing together for a while now, but bringing [Jack] Combs in with his pedigree as one of the top dogs in the league helps us immensely. We're definitely starting to find each other and feed off each other." - Shattock on he and his linemates gelling down the stretch.
"Lucas [Gore] has played extremely well in the games he's played for us this year. In our situation right now I want to get him some game time and let him play. Both guys are going top get a lot of time the rest of this season." - Head Coach Rich Kromm on the decision to start Gore.
"We had a couple chances at the end there. Shattock just gets his stick lifted right in front at the last minute on a good play by their defenseman. It was really an evenly played game all around I felt, but we definitely had our opportunities." - Coach Kromm on the final push in the final minute.
"I think they capitalized a little better tonight. I thought we had a solid start, but we sagged after their first goal for a few minutes. The effort was there after that though and I really thought we played well for most of that game." - Coach Kromm on the team's effort throughout the game.
