Orlando returns to the Amway Center ice tonight against the Greenville Road Warriors as they kick off a six game home stand with a special 7:00 p.m. start time. For the Solar Bears, it is their first game since taking a 5-2 victory over the Gwinnett Gladiators last Sunday, capping off a three game road trip with the win. F Scott Tanski started the scoring last Sunday with a one-timer goal in the first, but Gwinnett scored twice in the first three minutes of the second period to grab a 2-1 lead. The Solar Bears came storming back as F Zach Harrison and F Michael Catenacci each had a goal and an assist in the second, and F Jacob Cepis put Orlando ahead 4-2 with a backhand goal late in the frame. F Tyler Murovich capped off the scoring with the lone third period goal to give the Solar Bears the win. Greenville is playing their third game in three nights after facing off against the Florida Everblades on Friday and Saturday. The Road Warriors earned a pair of wins, taking a 4-1 decision on Friday night led by a two goal performance from LW Jordie Johnston. On Saturday, Greenville doubled up Florida 8-4 with LW Justin Vaive notching a hat trick in the win. The Solar Bears have faced Greenville three times this season, going 3-0-0-0 in those contests.

Upcoming Games:

The Solar Bears will continue on home ice on Saturday, December 28, and Monday, December 30, both against the Florida Everblades at 7:00 p.m. Saturday's contest will feature intermission performances from the ZOOperstars.

Orlando then rings in the New Year with three games against the Utah Grizzlies on Thursday, January 2, Friday, January 3, and Sunday, January 5. Thursday's game will start at 7:00 p.m., Friday's contest begins at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday will have a special start time of 1:00 p.m.
