Not even five minutes later the Eagles were able to cash in on a power play as Daavettila sent a shot over Bulls netminder J.P. Anderson to put Colorado up 2-0. Bulls forward Luke Judson responded quickly to close the scoring gap 5-3, 9:06 into the third. Twenty seconds later Bulls forward Jordan Morrison beat Brown with a shot through the five-hole to make it a one goal game, 5-4.
