Matchup:

Orlando and Florida meet for the second game of a three set as the series shifts to South Florida. The Solar Bears started off the series with a 2-1 win at the Amway Center last night on the strength of a shorthanded scored early in the third. With the Solar Bears short on a 5-on-3 situation, F Zach Harrison blocked a cross ice pass and swatted the puck to D Eric Baier as he was leaving the penalty box. Baier raced in on a breakaway and picked the top corner of the net at 1:01 of the third period to snap a 1-1 tie and put the Solar Bears ahead 2-1. D Bryce Aneloski started the scoring in the first period when he finished off a give-and-go with F Andrew Johnston at 10:45 of the first. The 1-0 score stood until 19:08 of the second, when F Mathieu Roy redirected a shot from D Jordan Henry for a 5-on-3 goal to knot the score at 1-1. Baier's shorthanded goal at the start of the third stood as the game winning goal, and G Garret Sparks stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced for his first professional win in his Solar Bears debut.
