TODAY'S MATCHUP: Just a few days removed from their morning game victory at U.S. Bank Arena, the Cyclones are back on the road tonight for another meeting with the Evansville IceMen. For the second straight game, first place in the North Division will be on the line as the teams are separated by just one point in the standings. All-time, Cincinnati is 10-4-0-1 against their Hoosier State foes.

SCOUTING THE ICEMEN: With another extra-session defeat on Tuesday, Jeff Pyle's club has earned points in 10 of its last 11 games. Each of their previous five contests have been decided by a single goal. The IceMen force teams to be very timely with their offense, allowing the fifth-fewest average shots per game (26.18). Matt Schepke, who was held off the scoresheet on Tuesday, paces the team in scoring with 11 points (4g, 7a) in as many games. Matt Lowry, and Nathan Moon, Mike Seidel, and Patrick Kennedy are all tied for second with eight points apiece. Mike Clemente has seen the bulk of the workload between the pipes, although he hasn't faced Cincinnati yet in 2013-14. So far this season, Clemente is 7-0-0-2 with an impressive 2.18 goals-against average. Mike Bartus' first game of the season was a shootout loss on Tuesday; he made 30 saves in the loss.

About Tuesday Morning vs. Evansville: Philippe Cornet scored his second shootout goal of the season as the Cyclones secured first place in the North Division standings and defeated the IceMen by a 2-1 final score in front of 4,783 at U.S. Bank Arena. Rob Madore, who made 34 saves through 65 minutes, stopped all five shooters he faced to secure Cincinnati's fifth extra-session win of the season.

Even-Steven Scoring: Cincinnati has found its groove when skating five-on-five. Through 12 games this season, they've outscored opponents 32-22 in such situations.

Get Paul The Puck: The Clones have spread the wealth on offense, but have found great success when forward Paul Crowder gets on the scoresheet. Cincinnati is 6-1 when he earns a point this season and 3-0 when he scores a goal.

Spreading the Wealth: All but two players on this year's active squad have notched at least a point this season. In fact, of the Cyclones nine wins, they've had seven different game-winning goal scorers.
