TONIGHT: The Orlando Solar Bears (3-3-0-0) look to take the second match of the week's home-and-home series with the Florida Everblades (2-3-0-0) following last night's 3-0 victory in Orlando.

BRODZINSKI PROVIDING DEFENSIVE PRESENCE: Defenseman Michael Brodzinski has been effective on both sides of the puck for the Solar Bears in the early stages of the season. The blueliner's four points (2g-2a) leads Orlando's defensive corps, while his +7 rating is tied with Tulsa's Scott Moldenhauer and South Carolina's Kevin McKernan for the league's plus-minus lead among defensemen. The Solar Bears hold a 3-1-0-0 record in games that Brodzinski records a point, the best among all of the team's skaters.

KALK TO MAKE SEASON DEBUT: Forward Corey Kalk has been activated from injured reserve and is expected to make his pro debut tonight with Orlando. The rookie completed a four-year NCAA career with Dartmouth College in the spring, ending his tenure with the Big Green with 70 points (33g-37a) in 117 games.

BEREHOWSKY CLOSING IN ON CENTURY MARK: With 95 career wins behind the bench of the Solar Bears, Drake Berehowsky is already the winningest head coach in the team's ECHL tenure. He is only five wins away from joining former IHL Solar Bears bench boss Curt Fraser as the second head coach of a professional hockey team in Orlando to reach the century mark in coaching wins.

NEXT GAME: The Solar Bears remain on the road, as the team journeys north to face the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
