The Road Warriors will face-off against the Kalamazoo Wings in their fourth game in the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Greenville leads the series 2-1 after defeating the Wings 2-1 in overtime Wednesday night.
The Road Warriors took the series lead Wednesday after Scott Arnold scored two minutes into overtime. After a scoreless first period, Greenville took the lead just over five minutes into the second period on a goal by Marc-Olivier Vallerand. The Road Warriors maintained their lead until Nick Sirota tied the game at 1-1 with 5:33 left in the third period forcing the game into overtime.
Road Warriors Commentary:
The Road Warriors Drive to the Kelly Cup presented by the Greenville News returns tonight to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena for the second home game of the 2014 Kelly Cup Playoffs. BLEED BLUE! Rally towels will be given to the first 1,000 fans in attendance.
