South Carolina has claimed a pair of wins this season versus Florida, including a 2-0 win on November 3 at the North Charleston Coliseum. The Stingrays are coming off of a 4-3 win last night against the Brampton Beast while the Everblades won 4-3 last night against the Atlanta Gladiators. Florida is 31-12-0-1 and 1st in the South Division and Eastern Conference.

HEAD-TO-HEAD AGAINST FLORIDA

Florida comes in tonight with a 16-6-0-1 record away from home, while the Stingrays are 13-6-3-2 on home ice. A quick start will be key in tonight's game as both teams boast an impressive mark when taking an early lead. When leading after the 1st Period, the Everblades are 14-3-0 while the Stingrays are 18-2-0-1.

FIRST FOR QUICK

Defenseman Kevin Quick scored his first goal as a member of the Stingrays last night against the Brampton Beast. Quick's goal tied the game at three and forced overtime. Quick was reacquired by the Stingrays from the Indy Fuel in January after serving as the South Carolina captain in 2012-13 and 2013-14.

PACAN ROLL IS NICE AND CRISPY

Last night against the Brampton Beast, forward David Pacan scored the game-winning shootout tally and also added an assist. With that, his point streak has been extended to seven games with six goals and five assists in that span. Pacan continues to lead the team in goals (14), assists (21) and points (35).

DON'T MESS WITH THE PENALTY KILL

The Stingrays killed four penalties last night against the Brampton Beast, maintaining the top home penalty kill mark in the league at 88.9%. On the flip side, Florida's road penalty kill sits first overall at 92.7%.
