Knight Recalled by Iowa

MOLINE, Ill. - Forward Jared Knight has been recalled from the Quad City Mallards by the American Hockey League's Iowa Wild, the Mallards announced today.

Knight, 24, picked up an assist last night in the Mallards' 4-2 win over the Rapid City Rush after being assigned to the Mallards by Iowa Thursday. Knight has now notched a goal and an assist in three games with the Mallards this season. The 5' 11", 200-pound Battle Creek, Michigan, native has scored once and added five assists in 31 games with the Wild this year.

The Mallards visit the Fort Wayne Komets tonight. The Mallards next play at home on Friday, February 19 at 7:05 p.m. against the Cincinnati Cyclones. February 19 will bring the return of $1 Dog/$1 Beer Night presented by 97X and MetroLINK College Night.
