TONIGHT:
The Ontario Reign (31-12-2-3) will play the Las Vegas Wranglers (11-29-4-2) for the final regular season contest between the two clubs at Orleans Arena this season. This is their seventh meeting of the 2013-14 season and they will see each other two more times at Citizens Business Bank Arena in March and April.
The match also represents the last time the Reign meet the Wranglers at the Orleans arena in a regular season match, as the team will leave the venue following this season. In six years as Pacific Division rivals, Ontario has compiled a lifetime 14-15-2-0 record on the road in Sin City.
FAMILIAR FOE:
Despite only playing in 13 games for Ontario this season, netminder Jussi Olkinuora should already have a book on the Wranglers by this point. He has been between the pipes for three games against Las Vegas (2-1-0-0), and his cumulative save percentage of .885 across those three contests is ahead of his season save percentage.
WHITE-HOT:
In addition to scoring the overtime-winning goal for the Reign on Wednesday night, Matt White has recorded three goals over his last three games, with two - including a shorthanded tally - against Bakersfield on Saturday. That represents a quarter of his 12 goals on the season; the coaching staff has entrusted him with bigger minutes as the season has evolved.
