Cyclones Involved in Flurry of Roster Activity

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today several roster moves. The San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League have recalled and traded Adam Brace to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in exchange for defenseman Mike Dalhuisen (Doll-HUGH-zin). Dalhuisen will report to Cincinnati. In a separate transaction, the Milwaukee Admirals have loaned goaltender Scott Darling to the Cyclones.

Dalhuisen, a 25-year-old native of the Netherlands, comes to the Queen City after beginning his pro career with the Stockton Thunder. While out west, the six-foot-three-inch, 216-pound rear guard notched 16 points (7g, 9a) in 28 ECHL games. He also logged four games with the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, but did not register a point. Prior to going pro this year, he earned four letters with Quinnipiac University - amassing 38 points (12g, 26a) in 143 collegiate games. He also spent ample time playing for his home country during the World Junior Championships and was a medal winner on five different occasions.

Darling, who has played nearly all season with the Admirals, is 8-3 with a 2.18 goals against average and a.930 save percentage in 15 games in Milwaukee. The Lemont, IL native was the AHL's Goalie of the Month in December when he went 6-2 with a 1.12 GAA, a .964 save percentage and two shutouts. In his only appearance with Cincinnati this season he earned the win in a 4-2 win over Wheeling on October 19th.
