
Countdown to Face-Off: Kalamazoo Wings vs Toledo Walleye

For the eighth time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will host the Toledo Walleye. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-3-0-0 versus the Walleye, which includes a record of 4-1-0-0 at Wings Stadium. After this evening, the teams will square off five more times, including once more at Wings Stadium.
Kalamazoo snapped a season-high five-game winning streak with 5-2 loss last Sunday on the road against the Fort Wayne Komets. While one streak ended, the K-Wings will try to keep another alive. Kalamazoo has won five straight games at home.
Tonight is the final contest of a five-game road trip for the Walleye. Toledo is 2-2-0-0 during the current swing. After winning the first two games of the trip, Toledo has dropped two in a row, including a 5-4 setback last Saturday night at Wing Stadium.

Rolling Along
Forwards Justin Taylor and Yannick Veilleux have been racking up points. Taylor has earned points in five straight games, while Veilleux is riding a four-game point streak.
Home Cooking
Kalamazoo will return home tonight looking to extend a streak. The K-Wings are on a season-high four-game home winning streak.
Home Sweet Home
Kalamazoo's dominance at home started before the current win streak. Since December 31st, the K-Wings are 9-1-1-0 at Wings Stadium.
