LAST GAME

The Erie SeaWolves continued to run all over the Altoona Curve on Saturday night, earning a series win with a 14-1 victory at UPMC Park. Jesus Rodriguez tossed six strong innings in a winning effort while the Erie offense exploded for eight runs in the third inning. Riley Green continued his torrid stretch, homering in his fourth consecutive game. Every batter for Erie collected at least one hit, and contributed on at least one run. The eight-run third was started by Greene's three-run homer, while Kerry Carpenter added his own three-run shot later in the frame. Jesus Rodriguez only allowed one hit, a Mason Martin solo home run, while working six innings to earn the win. Yaya Chentouf and Ruben Garcia added scoreless outings in relief for Erie.
