
FSN to Broadcast Storm Games This Season

SEATTLE, Friday, June 5, 2009 - The Seattle Storm and FSN today announced that the network will telecast five games this season, beginning with the team's home opener vs. the Sacramento Monarchs on Sunday, June 7 at 6 p.m.
"We're proud to announce our continued partnership with FSN this season and we look forward to working together to bring Storm basketball to fans throughout the Northwest," said Storm CEO Karen Bryant. "The FSN partnership gives us a chance to showcase our talented roster during our 10th anniversary season."
Calling the action for the Storm on both FSN Northwest and Alternative Talk KKNW-AM 1150 are Dick Fain and Adia Barnes. Fain was the sideline reporter as well as fill-in play-by-play and color analyst for the Storm from 2002-2006 and was part of the broadcast team during the WNBA championship run in 2004. Former Storm player Barnes is in her third season as the team's color analyst. The seven-year WNBA veteran spent the 2002-2004 seasons in Seattle.

In addition to the five games telecast locally by FSN Northwest, two of the Storm's games will be nationally telecast on ESPN2, including Tuesday, June 9 at Indiana and Thursday, July 9 against the Sacramento Monarchs.
On Wednesday, May 13, the WNBA announced the launch of WNBA LiveAccess, a new feature on WNBA.com that will provide Storm fans and WNBA fans alike with free access to live webcasts of games.
With the launch of WNBA LiveAccess, fans will gain free access to live webcasts of Storm games and other WNBA games. Fans around the world will be able to access live game webcasts on individual team Web sites. Some blackouts of live games will apply and all of the WNBA LiveAccess games will be archived for on-demand viewing. Storm fans are encouraged to visit stormbasketball.com for a schedule of the team's games available via WNBA LiveAccess.
