AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - Detroit Shock Head Coach and General Manager Bill Laimbeer announced today that the opening night roster has been finalized and stands at 11 players.

With the roster set, the Shock have wrapped up training camp and are headed west to face the Los Angeles Sparks to tip-off the season Saturday. The game tips at 2:30 p.m. E.T. and will be nationally televised on ABC.

The defending WNBA Champions will return home to host the Sparks again on Monday, June 8 and will participate in a championship banner raising and ring ceremony beginning at 7:00 p.m. E.T at the Palace of Auburn Hills, followed by a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
