LAST WEEK: Fresno opened its seven-game road trip by splitting two games in Phoenix. The Falcons are 3-2-2 overall on the season for 8 points, and are part of a three-way tie for second place in the Pacific Division, two points behind Las Vegas.

Thursday, November 1 @ Phoenix RoadRunners 3 FALCONS 2

Phoenix started off quickly, taking a 1-0 lead just 1:12 into the contest on a Justin Maiser goal. The Falcons tied it 49 seconds into the second period, as Jarrett Konkle tallied his second goal of the season. The RoadRunners opened up a 3-1 lead on goals from Sean O'Connor midway through the second, and Maiser's second of the game early in the third. Fresno pulled back within one as P.O. Beaulieu scored his second of the game 11:13 into the third period, but RoadRunners goaltender Nathan Lawson shut the Falcons down the rest of the way to preserve the win.

Saturday, November 3 @ Phoenix FALCONS 5 RoadRunners 3

Fresno recorded its first road win of the season with a 5-3 win over Phoenix on Saturday. The Falcons scored two power-play goals in the first period to open up a 4-0 lead, and then single goals in the second and third gave Fresno a 4-0 lead. Phoenix answered, scoring three times just 1:10 apart early in the third to cut the Falcons' lead to one. Igor Gongalsky gave the Falcons some breathing room, and iced the game, with his second goal of the season at 13:57. John Ceci got the win in net, making 49 saves, including 22 in the third period.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Sunday, November 11 @ Stockton 4:00 p.m.

The Falcons resume their seven-game road trip with the first of 10 meetings this season against the Thunder. Fresno was 7-2-0 against Stockton last season, and holds a 15-2-1 all-time record against the Thunder.

FALCONS NOTES

- P.O. Beaulieu has scored a goal in three straight games, and is just two goals away from tying his career single season high of five set last season.

- Oren Eizenman has scored at least one point in six of Fresno's seven games this season, and enters the week on a five-game scoring streak (2g, 6a). With nine points overall on the season, Eizenman is tied for fifth among ECHL rookies.

- Luke Curtin has scored at least one point in six consecutive games. Curtin continues to move up on a couple of ECHL all-time lists. His 348 assists are 10th all-time, and his 531 points rank 17th.

The first Schoettler-Neufeld Tire Falcons' Weekly Show airs this Wednesday from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. from Rep's Sports Bar, located on Blackstone between Ashlan and Dakota. The show also airs live on 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce, with Falcons Head Coach Matt Thomas and Broadcaster Joe Babik.

FALCONS RETURN HOME NOVEMBER 24

The Falcons return to Save Mart Center to open a four-game home stand on Saturday, November 24 against the Alaska Aces at 7:30 p.m. The first 3,000 fans in attendance receive a Falcons poster courtesy of Midas and Port of Subs
