THE WEEK THAT WAS - (1-0-1)

November 2, 2007 - The Wheeling Nailers won their second consecutive game by beating the Trenton Devils by a score of 5-3 Friday night. Wheeling jumped out to a 3-0 lead 25 seconds into the second period only to see it disappear with 14:14 remaining in the third. Seamus Young netted the game winner on a feed from Kevin Du who had two assists in the game. Sean Collins also had two assists while Adam Henrich picked up three. Martin Houle stopped 24 shots in the win.

November 3, 2007 - A back-and-forth game ended with a Johnstown Chief win, 5-4, in overtime Saturday night. The Nailers tied the game at two, three and four to force the extra session. Adam Henrich added two more goals and Jason Tejchma scored his first of the year to tie the game with 6:15 to go in regulation. Wheeling was 2-for-5 on the power play.

Notes -

Adam Bomb...Adam Henrich has been phenomenal since returning from his three-game suspension to start the season. He picked up five points (two goals, three assists) in two games this weekend and now has seven points in three games.

Second to None... The Nailers power play is second best in the ECHL. They have scored multiple power-play goals in five of their six games. They have 13 goals in 49 opportunities (26.53%) and are behind only Victoria who has one more goal in the same amount of chances but has played one more game than Wheeling.

Ask Questions Later...Paul Bissonnette, Ned Havern and Adam Henrich have combined to take 78 of the team's 207 shots (38%). They have also accounted for 10 of the team's 22 goals (46%).
