ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades finished off their five-game road trip this past weekend going 1-2-0. The Everblades enter this week's action with a record of 4-3-0 (8 pts., T-4th, South Divison.)

Friday & Saturday, November 9 & 10 vs. Columbia Inferno
Game Times: 7:30 p.m. Both Nights
The Everblades return home to host the Inferno for a pair of game this weekend. The games will be the first two of seven between the South Division rivals this season and the first two of four at Germain Arena. The Everblades hold an all-time record of 25-12-7 vs. Columbia and are 15-3-4 all-time at home vs. the Inferno. The Inferno enter this week's action with a record of 3-4-0 record (6 pts., 6th, South Division).
LAST WEEK'S GAMES
Friday, November 2 at Alaska Aces 3-1 Loss
The Everblades and Aces hooked up in a historic meeting last Friday night. The game was the first played between the two clubs and also featured the furthest distance traveled between two teams in hockey history. An entertaining hockey game saw the Aces tally two first period goals and hold that 2-0 lead until the third period. Ernie Hartlieb scored the lone Everblades goal midway through the third period, but Alaska sealed the win with an empty-net tally in the closing minute. Justin Peters started in goal for the Everblades but suffered the loss allowing two goals on 23 shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-for-3; PK 4-for-4.
Saturday, November 3 at Alaska Aces 2-0 Win
The Everblades rebounded after losing two straight behind the goaltending of Tyler Plante who earned his first pro win and shutout in a 2-0 victory. Plante stopped all 31 shots he faced while defensemen David Cornacchia and Frank MacDonald provided the offense by scoring 44 seconds apart midway through the second period. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-for-2; PK: 5-for-5.
Sunday, November 4 at Alaska Aces 4-1 Loss
The Everblades wrapped up their five-game road trip with a 4-1 loss at Alaska. The Everblades allowed a goal in each period, falling behind 3-0 before Ryan Van Buskirk tallied late in the final period to cut the lead to 3-1. The Aces however sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the closing seconds. Goaltender Justin Peters suffered the loss allowing three goals on 24 shots to fall to 3-2-0. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-for-3; PK: 2-for-4.

Goaltender of the Week Nominee: This week's Everblades goaltender of the week nominee is Tyler Plante who picked up his first professional win and shutout on Nov. 3 at Alaska in a 2-0 Everblades victory. Plante stopped all 31 shots he faced in the effort.

The 20-year-old earned his first professional win and collected his first professional shutout in one night on November 3 at Alaska. Plante stopped all 31 shots by the Aces in a 2-0 Everblades victory to earn both milestones.
