LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 2-1-0

OVERALL RECORD: 25-8-10, 60 pts., 1st Place Pacific Division

Jan. 31 vs. Utah, 2-1 Win - Goaltender Jamie Holden made 35 saves and J.F. Plourde and Kelsey Muench both scored to help lead Fresno to its first win following the All-Star Break.

Feb. 3 @ Utah, 5-3 Win - All-Star defenseman Dustin VanBallegooie scored both the game-tying goal late in the second and the eventual game-winning goal 5:34 into the third as the Falcons overcame deficits of 2-0 and 3-2. Shawn Mather also added two tallies and Luke Curtin had four assists in the victory.

Feb. 4 @ Utah, 3-1 Loss - Fresno came up short in its bid to sweep three games from the Grizzlies last week. Tied at one entering the third, the Falcons gave-up a pair of goals less than two minutes apart mid-way through the final period as the team's six-game unbeaten streak (4-0-2) dating back to Jan. 21 ended.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Wednesday, Feb. 8 @ Stockton Thunder, 7 p.m.* - The Falcons and Thunder play the first of four in a row against each other as Fresno makes its first-ever trip to the brand new Stockton Arena.

Friday, Feb. 10 vs. Stockton, 7 p.m.* - The first 2,500 fans will receive a Falcons baseball cap, courtesy of AT&T, KSEE 24, and KISS Country.

Saturday, Feb. 11 @ Stockton, 7 p.m.** - After going unbeaten through its first 14 Saturdays of the season (10-0-4), Fresno looks to get back on track following this past Saturday's loss to Utah.

Sunday, Feb. 12 @ Stockton, 4 p.m.* - The Falcons and Thunder complete four games in five days against one another.

NOTES

. Saturday's third period loss to Utah marked the first time this year that Fresno has lost a game in regulation when tied after two periods (8-1-3). . J.F. Plourde's power play goal on Tuesday against the Grizzlies snapped a team-wide 0 for 19 dry spell with the extra man. . Conversely, Utah's first goal on Saturday was scored on the power play, ending a string of 20 consecutive kills for the Falcons. . Plourde and Shawn Mather are now tied for the team goal-scoring lead with 18 apiece. . Luke Curtin's four assists on Friday are a team season-high. Fresno's leading scorer begins the week with 55 points (16g-39a), tied for third around the ECHL. . For the second straight week, the Falcons' lead in the Pacific Division over the second-place Long Beach Ice Dogs is seven points.
