Florence Y'alls News Release
FLORENCE, KY - With Father's Day right around the corner, the Florence Freedom want to extend a great opportunity that goes beyond just a gift and a card for dad, but a memorable experience that can be shared.
Before the Saturday, June 16, Freedom game against the Washington Wild Things at 6:05 pm, kids 18 and under will be allowed to come down onto the field and play catch with their hero, Dad, from 5:25 - 5:45 pm.
Want more? CVG International Airport is proudly sponsoring the Ted Bushelman bobblehead give-a-way to the first 1,000 fans through the gate. Bushelman, who passed away last year, was once known as Mr. Northern Kentucky for all he did for the surrounding communities and retired from working at the airport after 42 years of service.
On top of all that, the Freedom will be giving away 27 different "dad" themed give-a-ways, one for every out the opponent makes during the game!
After the game, kids can enjoy on-field kick ball while the adults can socialize and get down to a live music performance by Big Rock Club in the Parrot Bay Bandstand located at the Home of the Florence Freedom.
Currently, the Freedom have a special ticket plan just for families wanting to take advantage of this great Father's Dad experience. Families can call the Freedom at 859-594-4487 and inquire about the Father's Day Four-Pack, which includes four reserved tickets, four hot dogs, four 24 oz sodas and four bags of chips for just $40.
Make it a gift from mom as well and add two tickets to see Foreigner live in concert for just $60 more (that's a savings of $44!) This ticket package must be purchased in advance and will not be available after 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 16.
Gates open for the Saturday event at 5:05 pm. The Freedom are members of the professional Independent Frontier League and play all their home games at the Home of the Florence Freedom, located at 7950 Freedom Way in Florence, Kentucky.
