South Carolina Stingrays News Release

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays have teamed up with the National Allergy, Asthma, and Urticaria Centers of Charleston to host a free asthma screening for adults and children at the South Carolina Stingray game on Sunday, March 25 at 4pm. Adults and children who experience breathing problems, such as coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath, can be examined by an asthma specialist to find out if asthma is taking their breath away. This nationwide program is sponsored through the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and is the largest program of its kind. Over 100,000 people have been screened since this program's inception.

Our physicians and nurses will perform a short asthma screening questionnaire and then answer any questions you might have. Information will also be available about local research studies available for asthmatics.

If you would like more information about the program, please contact Robin Bostick at 852-4852. Don't let asthma take your breath away!
