SERIES HISTORY:
Tonight marks the eighth meeting of the season between the Condors and the Falcons. It will be the 126th meeting between the two teams dating back to the WCHL, with the Condors 58-51-16 against the Falcons. After tonight, Bakersfield and Fresno will meet once more at Save Mart Center on March 30th.
The Condors have gone 5-0-2 this season against the Falcons. All seven games have been decided by two goals or less, including two games that went to overtime and two more that continued past an extra session and into a shootout. Despite the five victories in seven match-ups, Bakersfield has only outscored Fresno 21-16 in the season series, and neither team has scored more than four goals in any of the contests. In the most recent get together, pushed back from February 19th to February 20th because of unsafe ice conditions at Save Mart Center, John Morlang netted the game-winner in overtime to give Fresno a 2-1 victory.
