
Forward Steve McJannet Traded to Utah

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager in coordination with head coach Malcolm Cameron have announced that forward Steve McJannet has been traded to the Utah Grizzlies for future considerations.
McJannet, 28, has appeared in 21 games with the Everblades and tallied two goals and eight points. The Kanata, Ontario native also racked up 55 minutes in penalties this season. McJannet has battled injuries this season missing a total of 20 games due to injury. McJannet has spent the last two seasons in Southwest Florida appearing in 50 games and scoring eight goals and 19 points with 114 penalty minutes.
McJannet spent his first two professional seasons in Columbia South Carolina with the Inferno. He appeared in 100 games and scored 26 goals with 28 assists for 54 points and 131 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound forward played four years at Lake Superior State University where he was teammates with current Everblade Colin Nicholson.
