
Fleece Blanket Giveaway Highlights Griffins' Two-Game Set Next Weekend

Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 vs. Houston Aeros
Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).
Dollar Beers, Dollar Dogs: The ever-popular promotion runs from 6-8 p.m., when fans can enjoy $1 domestic drafts and $1 hot dogs while supplies last.
Pennzoil Promotion: Prior to the game, the first-ever Pennzoil RCR street performance camaro will be on the arena plaza. During the first intermission, the car will be awarded to John Nidefski of Grand Rapids, who won the car as winner of the Pennzoil "Get Your Key to Clean" promotion on Oct. 16 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. In addition, fans can visit the Griffins' Ticket Central booth at the top of the main stair case to enter to win a Pennzoil race jacket, or a Kevin Harvick autographed diecast collectable car. Winners will be drawn at the conclusion of the second intermission and announced during the third period.
College Night: Presented by Chemical Bank, college students can show their ID to purchase a lower bowl ticket for $12 (or $10 in advance at The Zone) and stop by the McFadden's concourse table to receive a free pass to the post-game party at McFadden's.
Get in the D-ZONE: Every Friday night is a Griffins GRD-Zone Friday night. Avoid the concession lines and get your $1 beers and $1 hot dogs served to you in your seats! Organist: Dale Zieger will be on hand to provide organ music and chants for fans during the game.
Throw for Dough: Fans can purchase Throw-for-Dough pucks for $1 or $3 for a chance to win $5,000, a $25 Visa gift card from Lake Michigan Credit Union, or a Griffins souvenir. Proceeds will benefit the GVSU Dance Team.

Concourse Expansion Grand Opening: Fans are encouraged to gather near the concourse expansion area prior to the game at 6:15 p.m. for a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open Section-A. In addition, 800 Amway t-shirts will be handed out to fans.

Post-Game Autographs: Presented by Huntington Bank, select Griffins players (TBD) will sign autographs following the game from the Griffins bench.

Single-game ticket prices are $5 (Sunday-Thursday games only, advance purchase at The Zone), $13, $15 and $17 in the arena's upper level, and $17, $20, $25 and $30 in the lower level.
