Manitoba Moose News Release
The Manitoba Moose are pleased to remind fans they will hold the second annual Manitoba Moose Super Skills Competition at MTS Centre on Tuesday, November 16th beginning at 7:00 p.m. Fans of all ages are encouraged to come at 6:00 p.m. to test their own skills with different activities and interactive games throughout the concourse of MTS Centre prior to the competition.
Captain Nolan Baumgartner, Joel Perrault, Jeff Tambellini, Cody Hodgson, and Jordan Schroeder, along with goalies Eddie Lack and Tyler Weiman and the rest of the Moose squad will compete in four different skill categories to determine the team's best in such areas as hardest shot, fastest skater, most accurate shot, as well as a breakaway competition. Moose defenceman Travis Ramsey will attempt to defend his hardest shot title, while bragging rights for the fastest skater, most accurate shot, and breakaway ability titles are all up for grabs. The competitions are designed to measure skill levels in a fun and easy fashion to give fans a rare opportunity to see the players interacting and competing with each other.
At the conclusion of this year's team skills competition, fans will once again have the unique opportunity to come down to the boards at ice level and get autographs from the players. The glass will be removed from specific areas around the rink so, from the seating area, fans will be able to interact with the players throughout the night.
Attendees will be treated to a full-game production including new videos, several giveaways and candid player interviews. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations for the low price of only $10.00. All admission is general seating.
Fans can buy tickets to all Manitoba Moose games at all Ticketmaster locations or by calling 780-3333 or by going online at www.ticketmaster.ca or www.moosehockey.com or by calling the Moose offices directly at 987-7825 (PUCK).
