Flames Recall Jaffray From AHL's Abbotsford Heat

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today forward Jason Jaffray has been recalled from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Jaffray, a native of Rimbey, Alberta, played in one game with the Flames this season. In 38 games with the Heat this year he has recorded 30 points including 13 goals. He was second in points (49) and third in goals (23) and assists (26) with the Manitoba Moose (AHL) last season despite only playing 56 games. Jaffray was also an offensive threat in the post season in 2009 as he finished second in goals (9), assists (10) and points (19) with the Moose as they lost in the Calder Cup Finals.
