
Sharks Host "Skate With The Sharks" At North Star Youth Forum In Westborough

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Sharks and the Starhawks Youth Hockey Association will be hosting a "Skate with the Sharks" presented by Papa Gino's on Tuesday, January 5 from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at the North Star Youth Forum in Westborough, MA. The event is the 2nd of four "Skate with the Sharks" during the 2009-10 hockey season and is open to all Sharks fans.
The Sharks will hold a team practice from approximately 6:00-7:00p.m. Following practice, fans will have the opportunity to skate with the team and FINZ from 7:10-8:00p.m. During that time, fans of all ages can also receive autographs, take photos and get to know the Worcester Sharks players. During the two hour session, members from the Sharks staff and the Starhawks Youth Hockey Association will be holding raffles to win some great Sharks prizes. Sharks merchandise will also be available for purchase to get you ready for Sharks action all season long!
Skate with the Sharks presented by Papa Gino's is free to attend and open for all Sharks fans to participate. A free Sharks ticket voucher will be given to all children 12 and under compliments of Papa Gino's. Helmets are required.
The Sharks continue their FIVE game home stand with three games this weekend at the DCU Center!
On Friday, the Sharks host the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7:05p.m. The game will be shown live on Charter TV3. College student are just $9 when purchased at the Box Office the day of the game with a student ID.
On Saturday, the Sharks host the first of three high school hockey double headers presented by the Massachusetts Army National Guard. The Shrewsbury Colonials and the Marlborough Panthers will battle before the Sharks host the Providence Bruins at 7:05p.m. The first 3,000 fans will receive a Mike Moore bobblehead doll compliments of WTAG. Doors open at 1:30pm! Purchase your Family Fun Pack today, which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs & 4 sodas for only $65! Each addition person is just $16.25 per person. College students are just $9 when purchased at the Box Office the day of the game with a student ID!
On Sunday, the Sharks host the Portland Pirates at 3:05p.m. Its $5 Kids Sundays presented by Papa Gino's! Kids 12-and-under are just $5 with a purchase of an adult gold level ticket! With each complete purchase (along with the purchase of an adult gold level ticket) fans will receive a FREE X-Large cheese pizza coupon to be used at participating Papa Gino's locations. The $5 Kids Sunday ticket offer will only be available at the DCU Center Box Office on the day of the game.
Now in their fourth season in Worcester, the Sharks look forward to another exciting season highlighted by the improvements of the ice surface at the DCU Center and the reduction of season ticket prices!
