Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned forwards Lance Bouma and Paul Byron to the Abbotsford Heat (AHL).

Heat training camp enters its final day today, Friday September 30th. Today's team scrimmage is open for viewing to the public and begins at 10:00am.
The Heat will begin the season on the road against the Lake Erie Monsters on October 7th, the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC) will play host to the Rockford IceHogs during the home opener on Friday October 14th.
