Flache Called Up to Chicago

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Paul Flache has been recalled to the Chicago Wolves, Gladiators American Hockey League Affiliate.

Selected twice in the NHL entry draft, first by the Edmonton Oilers in the 5th round, 152nd overall in 2000 and in the 5th round, 144th overall 2002 by the Atlanta and is currently under contract to the Thrasher.

The 6-foot-5, 201-pound defenseman out of Lakehurst, Ontario has tallied 2 goals and 8 assists for 10 points in 48 games with the Gladiators. Flache has also been a +7 in the Gladiators last five games.

Flache will join former Gladiators goaltender Michael Garnett and defenseman Evan Nielsen in Chicago and becomes the sixth Gladiator recalled to the American Hockey League this season.

Flache should be available for the Wolves 8:00 p.m. match up against the Houston Aeroes in Chicago tonight.
