Van Hoof and Soucy Called Up to Hershey

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots, under the new ownership group of Hockey Enterprises of Pensacola L.L.C. with owner Tim Kerr, announced that defenseman Jeremy Van Hoof and forward Jean Francois Soucy have been called up to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

Van Hoof has played in 43 games for the Ice Pilots this season picking up 7 assists and 26 penalty minutes. Soucy has played in 37 games with the Ice Pilots this season scoring 7 goals, 8 assists for 15 points and has picked up 122 penalty minutes.

The Ice Pilots will play home to Louisiana this Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. It is Cox Media Mardi Gras Night. A Mardi Gras Parade and a Mardi Gras Costume contest will take place during the intermission. Everyone attending the game will receive beads.

Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. For group tickets, season tickets or birthday parties, fans can call the Ice Pilots at 432-PUCK.

The Ice Pilots will be signing autographs and watching the movie "Miracle" this Friday at the Rave Motion Theatres on Highway 29 at 4:15 p.m. The Ice Pilots will watch the movie and than sign autographs after the movie. The Ice Pilots will also sign autographs at NAPA Auto Parts in Gulf Breeze this Friday from Noon 1:00 p.m.
