Idaho Steelheads News Release

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads announced today they have traded forward Miguel Delisle to the Long Beach Ice Dogs for future considerations. In addition, defenseman David Cornacchia has been recalled to the teams's AHL affiliate Utah Grizzlies and defenseman Regan Darby has been re-assigned to Idaho from Utah.

Twenty-one year old Delisle came to Idaho from the San Diego Gulls in a trade for Chris Gobert on December 12th, 2003. A Toronto Maple Leafs fourth round selection (100th overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Delisle scored back-to-back hat tricks in his third and fourth games as a Steelhead, and currently leads all ECHL rookies in power play goals with 11.

ECHL All-star defenseman Cornacchia will be added to Utah's roster for the third time this season. He had been previously recalled from 12/17-12/27, and again from 12/14-12/24, playing in a total of nine games. The Toronto, Ontario native is currently tied for ninth in scoring for ECHL defensemen with 34 points (6 goals, 28 assists).

Regan Darby has shuttled between Idaho and Utah more than any other Steelheads player this season, having been recalled four times and playing in 24 games (10/22-10/31, 11/20-12/20, 12/21-1/16, and 1/21-2/11). Darby was a Vancouver Canucks fourth round (90th overall) pick in the 1998 NHL Draft. With Idaho this season, the Saskatchewan-born, 23-year-old has tallied one point in 16 games played.

Other roster notes: Forward Dylan Gyori, who was placed on the 7-day injured reserve list on 1/26, will be activated and play in Friday's game in Peoria.
