Cyclones Suspend Jamie Herrington

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones General Manager/Head Coach Chris Cichocki announced today that the team has suspended forward Jamie Herrington. Herrington was acquired from the Pensacola Ice Pilots in exchange for Jade Galbraith on Saturday. Herrington refused his assignment to Cincinnati and has been suspended.

Herrington played 30 games this year for Pensacola recording four goals and 11 assists for 15 points. He is in his second season of pro hockey. Last year with Richmond and Pensacola, Herrington played 49 games with 17 goals and 27 assists for 44 points.

The Cyclones begin a three-game road trip on Friday in Trenton. Game time is 7:30 p.m. with a 7:20 pre-game show on sportsjuice.com.

The Cyclones return home on Wednesday, February 18 for NASCAR night. NASCAR Winston Cup Champion Matt Kenseth will be at U.S. Bank Arena as the Cyclones take on the Idaho Steelheads. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
