The Situation

The Grizzlies enter the week at 3-1 and with the best winning percentage in the Western Conference for the second-straight week to start the season.

3-0, 3-1

The Grizzlies went to 3-0 for the fifth time in team history and are now 3-1 for the fourth time in team history. Only in 1996-97, did Utah win more than three-straight games to start the year. This marks the second-straight year that Utah is 3-1 out of the gate.

Great Goaltending

Utah goaltender Andrew Engelage has taken a shutout into the third period in three-straight games. Overall this year, he is 3-1 with a 1.76 goals-against-average and a .953 save percentage.

Amongst The League Leaders

Engelage is tied for the league lead with three wins and leads the ECHL with 143 saves. The next closest competitor has 110 saves.

Consistent Effort

10 of Utah's skaters had scored in at least two of Utah's first three games this year before Saturday's 1-0 loss in Alaska.

Five-On-Five/Second Periods

Utah has outscored the opposition 10-5 when both teams are five-on-five this year. The Grizzlies have also outscored the opposition 7-1 in the second periods this year.

Attendance

The Grizzlies enter the third week of the season fourth in the 23-team ECHL averaging 7,247 after their largest home opener since 2001.

Home This Weekend

The Grizzlies play at home this weekend, and then start a stretch of seven of the next eight away from Maverik Center.

Oktoberfest

This weekend's games include Oktoberfest specials with: $11 lower bowl tickets, $2 soft pretzels, $4 brats, $2 domestic beers and $3 premium beers.
