NEWS & NOTES:

Hot Hand Hyland: Brett Hyland has been a man possessed in the last three games. The Edmonton, AB native has scored in three straight games, and has a goal in three of his last four outings. Two of Hyland's last three goals have also been the first goal of the hockey game. He enters tonight riding a three-game goal & point streak.

International Man of Mystery: Zakhar Polshakov added to his point streak with his fourth goal of the season last night. In his last three games, the Belarussian import has a goal and four assists. More importantly, Polshakov is 34/68 (50%) in the faceoff circle in that span.

Oh Dany Boy: Nate Danielson is starting to find his stride offensively. While the first eight goals of his Western Hockey League career all came in special teams scenarios, the Red Deer, AB native has scored an even strength marker in back to back games, including a highlight reel goal 24 hours ago.
