
Pats End Pre-Christmas Schedule in Moose Jaw

Regina, Sask. - Tonight the Regina Pats end their Pre-Christmas schedule with the second game of a home-and-home against the Moose Jaw Warriors at 7:00 p.m., at Mosaic Place.
These two teams last met on Friday at the Brandt Centre, with the Pats defeating the Warriors 6-5, taking a 3-1 season series lead. The Pats had a 5-1 lead slip away from them in the second, but were able to hold on for their third straight home victory.
Drew Sim made a career high 32 saves on 37 shots, while Tanner Howe had a career high three points (2G-1A), as the Pats improve to 3-1 over their last four games. The club also got multi-point performances from Logan Nijhoff (1G-1A), Cole Dubinsky (1G-1A) and Borya Valis (2A). The Warriors got goals from five different players, as Cade Hayes, Brayden Yager, Nathan Pilling, Atley Calvert and Jagger Firkus all found the back of the net, while Jackson Unger made 21 saves on 27 shots in the loss. The Pats went 1-for-6 on the power play while the Warriors went 2-for-6 on the man advantage. Moose Jaw has now lost two in a row, and their last three road contests.
