SNAPPERS' DECK PARTY BY LA CASA GRANDE
The Snappers and La Casa Grande in Beloit are excited to announce the annual Snappers' Deck Party Fundraiser on Thursday, June 16. The party will run from 6pm until the end of the game. All proceeds from the picnic will go toward the continued improvement of Pohlman Field, which has been the home of the Snappers since 1982. The picnic will be catered exclusively by La Casa Grande. Last year's proceeds helped to replace the dugout benches and fund a new batting cage tunnel. Thursday is also Twin Bargain Thursday, sponsored by our friends at WCLO 1230AM celebrating 75 years on the air! Fans can buy two box seat tickets for just $7.50. Make sure to visit the concession stands, as fans will be able to purchase selected items and get the second item for just 75 cents! Also 12oz. bottles of Leinenkugel's products are just $2 thanks to Ott-Schweitzer.
SUPERHERO NIGHT/FIREWORKS BY AK COMICS
The Snappers and AK Comics are proud to announce Superhero Night on Friday, June 17. Fans are encouraged to attend the game dressed up as their favorite superheroes. Game time is set for 7:00 pm and fans will be admitted one hour prior to the start of the game. Immediately following the game one lucky fan will attempt to win a Hot Tub Courtesy of Wolter Pools in the Wolter Pools Ring Toss Game. Fans can register to be selected at Wolter Pool Co. on Prairie Avenue, in Beloit. Following that AK Comics is sponsoring a spectacular fireworks show. Friday is also CSI Family Fun Friday. Make sure to keep an eye on the Community Shopper and get your 2-for-1 coupon for tickets to Friday night Snappers games at Pohlman field.
RCECA NIGHT/FIREWORKS BY THE ROCK COUNTY ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, TOUCHSTONE ENERGY
The Snappers and Rock County Electric Cooperative have teamed up for RCECA Night at the ballpark. Before the fireworks another lucky fan will participate in the Wolter Pools Ring Toss Game to attempt to win a hot tub from Wolter Pools. Then it is on with the fireworks sponsored by Rock County Electric Cooperative. Gates open at 6pm and game time is set for 7. Saturday is also Woodman's Market Macaroni Noise Maker Night. Fans that bring a box of macaroni and cheese on Saturday Nights will receive $1 off of their admission. Snapper fans that stop into their local Woodman's Market and buy a box of Roundy's brand macaroni and cheese will also be eligible to enter a season long drawing for a Snappers prize package. During the game fans can use their box of macaroni and cheese as a noisemaker to root the Snappers on to victory. As you leave the stadium, drop your box of macaroni and cheese in the marked bins. The Snappers will donate the food to the local Salvation Army Food Bank.
FATHER'S DAY/T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY
Bring Dad out to Pohlman Field to enjoy this special day. The first 500 fans in attendance on Sunday, June 19 will receive a free t-shirt. Gates will open one hour prior to the game at 2pm. Sundays are also Kid's Eat Free Sundays. Kids ages 5-14 who purchase a regular-priced kid's ticket on Sunday afternoon will receive a voucher for a free Hormel hot dog and soda. Make sure to stick around after the game as the kids get to run the bases! (weather and field conditions permitting)
