Fienhage Called up to AHL Rochester

Defenseman Corey Fienhage has been re-assigned to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League from the Gwinnett Gladiators.

Fienhage has earned 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 32 games this season with the Gladiators. He has also recorded a -4 plus/minus rating while with Gwinnett.

The Apple Valley, Minnesota native earned his second call up of the season to the Americans. In his first stint in the AHL, Fienhage tallied four points, all assists, in 17 games with Rochester.

The 6-foor-3, 215-pound defenseman was selected in the 3rd round by the Buffalo Sabres with the 81st overall selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
